Dear Total Balance Company Family,

Every month has a special uniqueness both in Mother Natures creative design and in mankind’s association with Celebrations. June is the Month that has historical memories, but one stands out for me. Father’s Day. So different than Mother’s Day, yet no less important. Relationships are the best part of any journey. The best memories and such special feelings. I remember I did not have the strongest relationship with my father growing up, but he was always my Hero. I guess I wanted his approval and saw him as the man I wanted to impress. Over the years I saw how impacting he was in my life. The lessons I have learned have lead me to where I am today and how I have been blessed to have a strength and at the same time care for those who need support. I will forever be grateful for the opportunity to have my Dad as my father.

We all have memories of what we faced and what we achieved. Those who lead us and those who affected our lives more than they may ever know. Our responsibility is not to look back and stay there, but to see who we are and now lead those who also need our strength. Only look back to see who you can help forward. I have gotten to know many of you, felt your wisdom, strength, character and the wonderful attributes that make you so special. You truly are leaders. Never underestimate the power you have to be an influence and role model. I have been affected by so many seniors who did not know they touched me.

I remember being back in London, at Whiteley’s Store in Bayswater, London back in 1997. My father worked there as a boy in the fish store. I was entering the big, heavy metal and glass door. I noticed an elderly lady approaching the door so I held it open for her to go through first, and she smiled and said with her sweet English accent “Fanks very much Love!”. I smiled, and wanted to ask her to exit and enter again just to hear those kind words and see her smile. 24 years later I still remember her, that moment, and it touched me. Forever. It taught me to always say “Thank You”, smile and show appreciation. You NEVER know who needs it or how it impacts others. I promise you there is so much to you, invaluable to life and others. Never undervalue yourself.

I was never a father. I never experienced the power of caring for someone I brought into this world. To all the fathers, thank you. You had an opportunity I never experienced and I hope you will reach out this month and share your love to those who you gifted life to. It is never too late to build deeper words that sink in forever.

I was lucky to mentor thousands of young men and ladies. In May I retired from coaching and leading the Non-Profit I started back in 2007. I shall miss the relationships I built. We rarely feel the love until it ends. To all my players, and my current team I just said goodbye to – may you all continue on a journey that never fades into anonymity. Remember, no one is ever too small to reach for the top. No age, no gender, no restrictions.

Talking of relationships, please read Richards Hero of the Month testimonial. I knew Richard over 20 years ago and had lost touch. I was so touched to receive his note and to open up the contact again. A very special man, and inspiration to many. Happy Father’s Day Richard, I never forgot you because of how you treated others.

Oh, and Happy Birthday on the 15th Mum. Had to sneak you in here.

With care and Love

Total Balance Company HERO OF THE WEEK – June 1st, 2021

TIP of the NEWSLETTER

This month is a simple tip. I often hear the question “what is the red ball for?” I love explaining the importance of the foot strength and flexibility and how the red ball helps create the reactivation of toe strength and firing up the tendons to react to pressure point and weight transference ability. Just rolling the foot on the ball with differing pressure will slowly loosen up the feet. However, and this is the tip, you can remove the ball and place it under your foot on the ground while watching tv sitting on the sofa. It is like a massage and getting the blood flow all the way into the toes. Place your foot on the ball and let the toes feel like they are moving as you roll.

I will be adding more workouts with the red ball – and adding a second red ball for extra balance and foot activation training. It is not imperative to have a second red ball but if you would like to get one please see the link below. Again, you don’t need two but I will be using two at the same time for extra development, but showing the alternative workout with one red stability ball only. SO – let’s get these feet active as they are the first point of contact to the ground, but often ignored in importance.

If only you believe in YOU as much as I believe in YOU, History will be made in your next chapter.

With love,

Dan
