Dear Total Balance Company Family,
Happy Belated Thanksgiving. It has been a year never before experienced and has forced us to dig through so many emotions and test our character. There is a beautiful saying I love. “The beauty of the World is never far away when looking into the Eyes of those who love you.” And this is my message as we start wrapping up 2020. With all the challenges we have and will face, the consistent strength comes from family. I know, even though so far away from England, my family will always be part of my soul. I am constantly reminded of this through the amazing testimonials we receive, thanking us for changing lives of family members who are loved. There is no greater gift than life – and seeing your loved ones regain self-respect, pride, independence and a future that holds new adventures is priceless.
Thank you all for your kindness, support, trust and commitment to bettering lives one person at a time. Be it you yourself, or someone you shared the Total Balance Company with, we are indebted to be part of your journey this year, next year and as many years as we can. Read the messages we have received below – smile, celebrate, believe and trust that you have so many great years ahead. DO the work, trust your own power and never, ever give up.
Join me on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 9am PST, in our private Total Balance Company Facebook Group or see the workouts on YouTube. Kathy is teaching her incredible class LIVE on Wednesdays at 9am PST. Debbie will be teaching Mondays and Fridays at 9:30am PST. on the Total Balance Company and a special Saturday class for movement without the Total Balance Company as you get back to free movement. See you on one or all of them! We truly care.
Love always,
Dan
Total Balance Company HERO OF THE WEEK – November 1st, 2020.
TIP of the NEWSLETTER
The Tip this week is especially for those suffering from inability to move a body part, either quickly or at all. This is especially true for many I have “spoken” with about stroke, TBI, drop foot or effects of neuropathy. Before starting any exercise think of the connection and extremity movement. We know that the connection from the brain to the body has to go through the spinal cord with messaging of intent. That intent with neurons sending the information can sometimes be blocked, or disrupted in speed. As such, I urge you to think of the body part receiving messages and as a result slowly unblock the pathway. We know with neuroplasticity and the power of the brain new pathways can be created and the new connections reactivating the movement possibilities.
The SEVEN STEP Adventure.
Step 1) Think of the area you want to move
Step 2) Imagine that area receiving the message and moving
Step 3) Imagine the area moving quickly and slowly changing speeds which is from different messaging intent
Step 4) Start to try to move the area
Step 5) Even if the area seems unresponsive keep sending the messaging – it takes time to break down a dam
Step 6) Do the exercises even if unable to move that area. Be conscientious in imaging the area working
Step 7) Slowly feel the neurons and energy activating the area and watch and feel for small improvements
Small steps can still lead to long adventures. If you believe in you, it is amazing who you will become.
GO TO Facebook and follow us @60uPFitness and join our private group so you can see us live – and send me questions during the 40-60 minute live event – I answer all questions and will also adapt workouts to YOUR request too. See you there.
Cheering you on. Stay safe, stay healthy and stay educated. With your brain and body working together – the world is yours. And don’t forget your friends, help them share your journey by helping them get a Total Balance Company too.
